ABOUT THE LOGO
Like all companies, the Logo is as unique as the company itself and can tell you many things about the company and its employees. Stillwell Fireplaces is no different, as there are several special attributes that went into the design of the company logo.

The “S” – The signature “S” with the 3 bars is the Farm Brand for the Stillwell Property, also the headquarters of Stillwell Fireplaces.
Formed from the capital letter S with the addition of 3 bars intersecting a one point is representative of the NASA Astronaut vector logo, symbolizing the 25 years that Eric has taught the Space Exploration honor for Pathfinders, Pre-school level and the endeavor of his team to have the Pathfinder Uniform patch sent into space aboard Space Shuttle STS-133
Dotting the “i” – We replaced the tittle with the official logo of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, representing Eric and Katie’s religious affiliation. It is a flame that as part of the church logo, represents the Holy Spirit. The entire SDA logo portrays an open Bible with a cross below the flame, but this part was not able to be incorporated into the official logo due to copyright infringements.
Cursive Writing – The logo written in cursive is representative of Eric’s handwriting, which is mostly cursive, going back to high school history class and the notebooks full of notes. It is also representative of the ‘art’ of fireplace selection, installation and finishes, which is a quality that Stillwell Fireplaces strives for in each project.
The Space Shuttle – At the tail of the logo, a Space Shuttle Orbitor can be seen launching forward and upward, showing the last part of the cursive “l” as the flame trail. Again, a reference to the dedication of Eric’s love of space and teaching the Pathfinder Honor. The flames coming out of the exhaust of the orbitor are also a reference to his time as a firefighter in the South Carolina Forestry Service.
